I really like the woodwork. However, it took me half an hour just to draw the blade from the sheath, and I don't know if it was from glue, or if it was sitting around a while and the wood contracted around the blade but once I got the blade out I enjoy it but I cannot get it all the way back into where it was bc how tight the sheath is... And you can see how much further the blade handles sticks out since I cannot, sheath it all the way

I got the 27.6" (70cm) as I wanted this to A) fit over my big head and B) hang low on my chest. This thing is SICK. It's my first heavy chain, my first chain with gold on it, and man I want to wear this thing all the time. Looks great with a black t shirt and jeans, looks great with my full viking king outfits for a royal fantasy ball. Recommend buying this if you're considering.

These rune Hair Beads are solid!! I ordered them for use at a royal fantasy ball for a viking look and they were PERFECT. They are heavy, solid, seem like they will last a long time. They are great for my thick hair. Would absolutely recommend buying these if you are considering it.

I love this knife. It is very sturdy and has a nice heft to it, showing the great craftsmanship. It's nice and sharp and I love the sheath that came with it, good for future camping trips to have on my belt. Customer service was really helpful and I enjoyed the quality of these shields.
I sanded one of them slightly and added some blue stain to make it gray, and I used vinegar on the metal to tarnish it and give it an antiqued look.

*Pros
The fit and finish on the blade and handle are very nice and tight, the galvanized handle and faux gemstones add a nice fanciful touch as well. The runes in the fuller are pretty awesome. I am curious what they say. The grind on the edge is sharp enough to do some serious damage, they are not super sharp though with some decent meat behind them. Mainly because historically these swords often hit into chain mail, or other forms of light armor. They were also used edge to edge in combate so it is designed to help retain the edge, and give it a bit more bone braking weight. The blade feels nice in the hand and indexes well. The sheath is quite eye catching as well and contains a strap to secure the sword on your back.
*Cons
There are always a few cons, even with awesome products. To be fair I will include the ones I have observed. When shipped it was within the sheath, which on this type of sword, unless the sheath is shaved sheep wool leather lined inside, being in the sheath too long can cause some scrathes in the blade. So there are a few rub marks near the last third of the blade toward the tip. The only other real con I have is that the blade is stainless, rather than high carbon. I have heard stainless is not the ideal steele for swords. While incredibly hard, and corrosion resistant, it is known to be brittle. That being said I have also read that there are types of stainless that can still make an alright sword. After testing I will be able to say more about the strength of this beautiful blade, and its ability to hold an edge.
I will be doing some fun tests with this blade, and will update the review with a video after the testing is complete. I am posting this as a first impression review from the unboxing and handling phase. I can not wait to get out there and put this sword through some testing. I sincerely hope it doesn't brake. I have grown quite fond of how it looks on my desk.
