Viking Battle Axe with Etched Norse Symbols
Fully functional and handcrafted to embody the spirit and tradition of the Viking age.
The head is etched with ancient norse symbols: the Runes, the Hem of Awe, and Odin's face.
The etching is deep and will last a lifetime and the axe will be a family heirloom passed down from generation to generation.
The ashwood handle was carefully carved with the Elder Futhark runes.
P.S. The axe comes with a handmade genuine leather sheath.

I bought this to be part of a cosplay as Ragnar Lothbrok from Vikings. I have no plans to cut wood or throw it. It is definitely well-made and has that authentic, rustic look that you would expect from a Viking-style weapon.
This thing is not a toy. I sliced an entire sheet of paper in half by gently running the blade across. Don’t break it by chopping wood or throwing it—this is designed for killing (though I hope no one uses it for that reason). But it is exactly what I was looking for!

Looks very nice, the etchings and markings are great. It’s lighter than u anticipated it would be. Should make a good gift for my boyfriend .
