Handmade Viking Knife

I bought two styles. I added a second knife by accident. I was so happy with the first 'feather' I decided to give both knives I bought to my son for his birthday. Be was thrilled and loves both knives. Great job guys!

The price is a little steep and there are tons of recreations out there on the internet which worried me after buying. Despite the sellers being slow with contact, they were very helpful and were willing to fully refund me after the knife was delivered if it was poor quality. However, now that I have received the knife I see that despite it being shipped from Hong Kong which had caused me some worry, it is a well-made knife. I do wonder if they are an ethical brand as this knife was 70$. It is a well-made and solid knife, the grinds are well done and do not compromise the structure, and it is a full tang with a beautiful brass handle. Despite the trouble I caused them being crazy thinking i was getting scammed, they were very courteous. I will be buying more from here. Overall great knife, very solid and well weighted, and worth the cost and weight.

Now to the Minor flaw(s)(see pictures)
The Feather pattern was lasered on (still looks great but kinda negates that old feeling the knife has)
And second off the knife was assembled and crafted with precision feather pattern is aligned with the cutouts guard closes in on the blade.
Only a small gap between handle and bronze guard

Conclusion great looking piece,versatile,useable with great handling for its lengh

And again i say flaws like its something bad, its not, it gives the knife a character and a Story

Would buy again ;)

And i just read the stuff again its a Copper guard .the pure copper will Corode that stainless steel pretty fast if not taken care of properly (keep it dry oil it, standard maintenance)
To clear out it came generously oiled^^

Blade sharpness and craftsmanship is perfect! I have used a variety of knives over my 30 year career and I've never been so excited to use this one. When my knife arrived, I decided to show off to a few co-workers....quickly halted that parade!!! Call me selfish, but I didn't want any of them to have a knife like mine....let then continue to spend $200-plus on their Damascus steel knives

Weather you just like the look or are looking for a functional and sturdy knife, you can't go wrong with this one.

This is definitely a non traditional knife design for cooking in the professional sense. However, as someone who enjoys both professional and elevated camp cooking this is a perfect knife for rugged use as well as in the kitchen at home. It comes just razor sharp. The first thing I sliced was cloves of garlic, which I was able effortlessly slice paper thin with this knife. I've put it through the paces on everything from chiffonade herbs to deboning carcasses (chicken, beef and lamb). Still razor sharp and the hardened steel edge shows no signs of ware.

Purely for the sake of verifying my credibility on reviewing a knife in this manner I was a professional chef for over decade and am a lifelong collector of functional cutlery.

I have also purchased this as a gift for friends as discerning as I and will likely do so again.

I bought the Viking Feather Knife for my son in law for Christmas. It came screaming in on Christmas Eve. I was so happy it made it on time. He was delighted with his knife.

Beautiful knife, lovely display piece. Not sure I'd take it camping because of the ornate cuts made into it but it's a beautiful piece
